Stephanie Williams

(She/her)

Stephanie Williams (she/her) is a wife, mom of two, and dog-mom to Blue. She first became involved with PFLAG Danville–San Ramon more than two years ago, shortly after her daughter came out as transgender in high school. That experience deepened her commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ youth and their families, and ultimately led her to serve on the PFLAG board.

Before joining PFLAG, Stephanie advocated for LGBTQ+ high school students in Arizona, where she facilitated weekly support groups and offered supportive counseling. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Stephanie currently maintains a small private practice and works full-time as a Medical Social Worker.

Originally from Arizona, Stephanie and her family moved to California in 2011 and settled in San Ramon in 2018 in search of a welcoming, family-focused community. She has previously served on local boards; MOMS Club in Tempe, Arizona (as President) and San Jose, California (as Vice President).

In her free time, Stephanie loves traveling with her family—especially internationally—and taking long walks with Blue.
